About American Heritage Girls

American Heritage Girls is a national faith based scouting organization for young women ages 5 to 18 that embraces Christian values. Our program at Crestview helps girls to acquire outdoor and life skills, develop confidence in leadership and teamwork, as well as working to grow their spiritual, social and character development. Currently AHG for girls and TrailLife USA for boys meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday from 6 to 7:45. AHG meets upstairs in the Children's Ministry wing on the 2nd floor. We encourage family involvement but there is no child care available at this time for younger children not enrolled in AHG or TrailLife.

AHG Impact

AHG's focus on service has allowed for us to not only make an impact in Georgetown, but also Austin and all the way to Moldova. Last year AHG provided over 40 purses filled with items for homeless ladies through partnership with Church Under the Bridge in Austin. In 2017 the Moldova Mission Team took and hung 50 sun catchers that the girls had made to an all-boys orphanage in Moldova. In November we worked with the Rotary Club to post over 1400 flags for the first Georgetown Field of Honor.
