Corey Ash has served at Crestview since the summer of 2018. He and his wife, Cathy, have been married for 30 years, and they have four children; Christy, Katie, Ryan, and Sarah. He is a graduate of Howard Payne University (BM) and Angelo State University (MME). Corey served at Howard Payne University for 13 years as director of bands, associate professor of music, and chapel director. He has served as a minister of music in four churches for the past 32 years. He has also served and continues to serve as an EMT-Paramedic for 28 years, a hobby that is quite unique to the musical world.
“The gift of music is one that God has uniquely given to us in order to bring praise and glory to Him. It is the language of the soul and can touch people like nothing else can. It is my prayer that we always use this amazing gift for His glory and for His glory alone.”
His ministry verse is Psalm 34:8 – “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
