Student Ministry

Crestview Student Ministry, CSM, focuses on our students discovering how to view life through the lens of the gospel. Our hope is for students to view school, friendships, and their future in light of their relationship with God, becoming godly leaders in our city and beyond.

We start by providing an open atmosphere where students can know that they matter...

where students can be honest, open, heard, accepted, and equipped to live as a light for Christ, no matter what the cost!

We hope to connect students in significant relationships and develop a worshipping community,

leading students to become disciples of Christ and equipping them to share their faith with others.

ABLAZE

The Ablaze Youth Choir and Drama Ministry kicked off in the fall of 2018. The students involved in Ablaze learn songs of praise for ministry, for use in encouragement to members of our community as well as mission opportunities beyond our local area.

Students are trained in singing, worship leading, personal evangelism and drama. The goal of Ablaze is multi-faceted, seeking to prepare students to share their faith through their gifts while encouraging them to expand their idea of what ministry can be.

The students meet each Sunday evening in the choir room from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the fall and spring semesters. Students who will be staying for the evening service at 6:30 pm are also provided with a meal. Members of our senior adult choir, Encore, provide fruit, chips, and dessert to the students each week to go along with their entrée. This ministry is available to all students in grades 6th through 12th.
