Outreach and Care Ministries

If you’re at a place in your life where you desire to grow in your faith and could use additional care or support, we want to help.  These ministries are here to provide you support, healing and growth while becoming more Christ-like in your faith.   Contact the church office for more information.

Celebrate Recovery

We are a Christ-centered 12-step program that helps people recover from their hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We meet weekly with a large group meeting where we worship in song, prayer, teaching, and listening to other’s testimonies.  Come join us on Tuesday evenings in the Event Center at 7:00 pm, with a dinner served at 6:30 pm.   No registration or RSVP is required to attend. Children's activities are available for ages six weeks through PreK but must be confirmed 24 hours in advance by calling Nancy Shoemaker at 512-560-9288.

Faith Filled Caregivers Ministry

Faith Filled Caregivers

This Biblically-based support group is designed for those actively caring for a loved one with a disease or injury.

Join us for words of encouragement, participate in positive discussions related to specific caregiver topics, learn applicable tips, meet other caregivers, get the prayer support you need, and more. FFC is open to the community, and there is no cost to attend.

The group meets every 3rd Monday of each month in room A106 at 1:00 pm. Please enter at the west campus entrance, park, and enter through the AEB portico door.

Faith Filled Caregivers Prays

You are invited to join our monthly guided prayer session, in which we will use scripture for praise, prayer, and meditation, with a focus on an attribute of God.

We will have time for silent prayer and meditation, as well as joining together in intercessory prayer, a chorus of prayer, giving thanks, and the opportunity to listen to and share testimonies of answered prayer. Caregivers, friends of caregivers, and family are invited to join us.

This group meets every first Friday of each month in the Prayer Chapel from 9:00 to 10:00 am.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a Christ-centered support group for people grieving the loss of a loved one through death.   Our next session will begin January 14.  Register online here.

It hurts to lose someone. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. Find help at GriefShare, a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.  Each session includes 3 elements: video seminar, group discussion and a personal workbook. All are welcome to attend.

Re|Engage

We believe that the family is God’s foundational institution for human society (Matthew 19:5-6; Ephesians 5:22-6:4). Therefore, we encourage lifelong commitments to marriage between one man and one woman; we support the ongoing spiritual nurture of the family, and we are committed to honoring the priority of family time through our ministries and activities.

Healthy families require healthy marriages. The goal of re|engage is to fashion couples into better disciples of Jesus Christ. If you and your spouse desire to grow in your marriage, consider attending re|engage! Classes are held during the fall and spring semesters. Click here to complete an interest form, or watch this video to learn more.
